Alan Bergman

President, Walt Disney Studios

As president of Walt Disney Studios, Alan Bergman is responsible for the distribution of the studios’ motion pictures across theatrical, home entertainment, pay-TV, digital, and other windows. Additionally, Bergman oversees franchise management, business affairs, finance, legal, labor relations, technology, and studio operations as well as the Disneynature film label. Bergman joined the company in 1996 as a director in the corporate controllership group and went on to hold various senior roles before he was named president of Walt Disney Studios in 2005. He has a bachelor’s degree in business economics from UCLA.
