Game Changer?

Would you sit in an arena and watch people play video games?

Yes. I can’t think of a basketball game or concert that I’ve attended in the last few years that I haven’t watched most of it on the big video screens anyway.

I would try it once for fun out of sheer curiosity. I think it would also depend on the game they were playing and if there were any other activities that attendees could take part in at the venue. You never know, it has a good chance of being more exciting than watching a poker tournament!

No. Video games are not a spectator sport. You either play or get out of the way.

No, but that may just be a sign that I’m getting old, and would find it hard to care about the outcome of a video game played by people I don’t know. It seems like watching video games on a giant screen in a large stadium or arena would be, if anything, the same or worse than watching on my own screen at home.

It depends. The reason for this answer is strictly because I think I would go watch anything in an arena if the amenities/perks were on point. Being greeted with a nice cocktail and some good people watching can make all the difference.
