U.S. Auto Parts Network Inc. said Tuesday that it had appointed Theodore R. Sanders, Jr. as chief financial officer, effective Monday.
The Carson-based online provider of aftermarket auto parts said Sanders brings more than 25 years of online, retail, technology and finance experience. He most recently was CFO at ViewSonic Corp., a Walnut maker of computer monitors, and earlier was CFO at PC Mall Inc. in Torrance.
“Ted’s background is a perfect complement to U.S. Auto Parts,” said Chief Executive Shane Evangelist in a statement. “He comes from an organization where he optimized a complex, multi-national e-commerce business model like ours and he maximized that model within a low-margin industry.”
U.S. Auto shares were up 12 cents, or more than 10 percent, to $1.27 in morning trading on the Nasdaq.
