Tetra Tech Awarded Contract

Tetra Tech Inc. said Thursday it was awarded a $240 million contract to provide various services to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Tetra Tech Inc. said it will provide architecture, engineering and construction services for the Corps’ Transatlantic Programs Center in Africa, Central Asia, the Middle East and elsewhere.

Tetra Tech will be involved in the design of airfields, force protection structures and other facilities to support the military. The indefinite delivery contract was awarded for one year and may be extended for up to four years. The work will support projects such as the design of airfields, force protection structures and other facilities to support the military.

Shares closed down 33 cents, or 1.5 percent, to $22.71.
