Teledyne Technologies Inc. said Thursday that its subsidiary, Teledyne Cougar has acquired microwave transmission systems manufacturer Tindall Technologies Inc.
Pleasanton-based Tindall designs and manufactures components used in military-grade, high performance microwave jammers used for U.S. Navy and Air Force training.
Tindall’s operations will be consolidated with Teledyne Cougar’s in Sunnyvale. Tindall reported about $2.7 million in sales during 2006.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Shares in Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne were up 23 cents to $46.10 in afternoon trading Thursday on the New York Stock Exchange. Shares in Teledyne have gained 55 percent since hitting a 52-week low on July of 2006.
