Stanley Gold is chairman of Shamrock Holdings Inc., a private investment company owned by the Roy E. Disney family. Gold, who co- founded Shamrock in 1978, served as president and chief executive from 1985 to 2013. He has led investments of more than $2 billion in a wide variety of industries. Gold was a director of Walt Disney Co., where he was actively involved in reshaping the strategic direction. Previously, he was a managing partner of L.A. law firm Gang, Tyre, Ramer & Brown Inc. He chairs the Shamrock Israel Growth Fund and heads its investment committee. Shamrock Israel Growth Fund Advisors Ltd., also known as Shamrock Israel, manages private equity investment funds specializing in Israeli and Israel-related companies. Gold also serves on the boards of University of Southern California, the USC Gould School of Law and the Keck School of Medicine of USC.
