Principal Stanley Black brings more than 60 years of experience as a real estate developer to Black Equities Group, a real estate firm with a portfolio of office, retail and industrial tenants under long-term net leases. Black was a co-founder of KB Development & Management, where he developed more than 60 office, multifamily and retail projects – more than 10 million square feet – in Southern California. Black reinvested the proceeds from the sale of those projects in retail and industrial properties across the country and formed Black Equities with his son Jack. The Blacks, with partner Bob Barth, formed SB Management to continue investing in income-producing real estate. Black has been honored by several civic and philanthropic organizations, including City of Hope, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Boy Scouts of America and the National Conference of Christians and Jews. He is a supporter of Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Union Rescue Mission, and a member of the World Business Council and the Chief Executives Organization.
