RICHARD MEIER
Managing Partner
Richard Meier & Partners Architects
Architect Richard Meier founded Richard Meier & Partners Architects, the company responsible for many iconic buildings, including the Getty Center in Los Angeles. The firm, which has offices in Westwood and New York, boasts an international roster of clients that includes Canal+, Siemens, KNP, Daimler Benz, Olivetti, Renault and SwissAir. A beachfront house in Malibu designed by Meier was sold earlier this year for $110 million, the highest price for a home sale in the upscale beach town. Meier, the 1984 winner of the Pritzker Architecture Prize, in March took a six-month leave of absence from his firm after published reports that he was accused of sexual harassment by five women.
