Picked Up: Stratus Media Group Inc., a Santa Barbara-based live entertainment company, has completed its acquisition of ProElite Inc., a West L.A.-based producer of mixed martial arts events. Stratus now owns 95 percent of ProElite’s stock, which trades on the Pink Sheets.

Office Integration: Massingham & Associates Management Inc., a community association management subsidiary of Dallas-based Associa, has integrated its Orange County office with its office in Signal Hill. Disaster Relief: Panda Restaurant Group, the Rosemead-based parent of the Panda Express, Panda Inn and Hibachi-San chains, has donated more than $450,000 to the American Red Cross in support of Japan earthquake and Pacific tsunami relief. The company’s Panda Charitable Foundation matched $228,966 in donations from Panda Express customers raised in an in-store campaign.

New Outpost: HREC Investment Advisors, the real estate brokerage and investment banking arm of Denver-based Hospitality Real Estate Counselors, has opened an office in Westlake Village. The new outpost, at 2945 Townsgate Road, will be overseen by Michael Blahosky and is the company’s third California office.

Website Honor: The website of Transamerica Retirement Services Corp., a downtown L.A.-based retirement plan provider for businesses, was the only retirement plan provider site out of 42 rated to earn the “excellent” designation every quarter in 2010. The designation was given by Dalbar Inc., a Boston-based independent analyzer of business practices.
