Acquisition and Order: Aecom Technology Corp., a downtown L.A.-based engineering company, has purchased Spectral Services Consultants Pte. Ltd., a Noida, India-based buildings services consultancy. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Brokerage Pickup: Wedbush Inc., a downtown L.A.-based investment firm, has acquired Lime Brokerage LLC, a New York-based trading technology and services company. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Stroke Certification: Van Nuys’ Valley Presbyterian Hospital has earned certification as a primary stroke center by the Joint Commission, an Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.-based non-profit that accredits and certifies medical organizations and programs.

Taking Shots: Divine Shots Photography, a provider of studio and location photo services with a focus on portraiture, has opened in Canoga Park. The studio is at 9025 Eton Ave., Suite C.

Medical Testing: DxTerity Diagnostics Inc., a Compton maker of genomic testing technology, has acquired intellectual property rights to several blood-based cancer tests from Boulder, Colo.’s SourceMDx Inc. Included in the tests are early diagnosis for breast and lung cancer.

Fund Launch: Del Rey Global Investors LLC, a Westchester asset management firm with a focus on international equities, is launching its first mutual fund, the Del Rey Monarch Fund. The fund will be managed by Paul J. Hechmer, who will be looking for undervalued foreign stocks.

CENTURY CITY

Boxed Up: OpenGate Capital LLC, a Century City private equity firm, has bought two U.S. subsidiaries that make boxboard from Montreal’s Cascades Inc. Cascades Boxboard Group-Connecticut LLC is a paper mill facility in Versailles, Conn., and Cascades Boxboard US Inc. is a converting facility in Hebron, Ky. They had combined revenue of more than $100 million last year. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
