ENCINO

Name Change: First Private Bank & Trust, an Encino-based bank, will become Boston Private Bank & Trust after the merger of its bank charter with Boston-based parent Boston Private Financial Holdings Inc. The consolidated bank has more than $6 billion in assets.

WESTLAKE VILLAGE

Shoo-In: K-Swiss Inc., a Westlake Village-based maker of athletic foot wear and apparel, has signed a multiyear agreement with Life Time Fitness Inc., a builder and operator of fitness centers, to provide shoes and apparel for the Chanhassen, Minn.-based company’s programs and events business. K-Swiss has also been named the official footwear and apparel sponsor for more than 30 Life Time Endurance events.

SANTA MONICA

New Office: First PacTrust Bancorp Inc., the Chula Vista-based holding company for Pacific Trust Bank, is expanding into Santa Monica. The office will be at the corner of 20th Street and Santa Monica Boulevard. Pacific Trust also is planning a Century City office.

PLAYA VISTA

New Headquarters: WebVisible Inc., a maker of online advertising software, has completed the move of its headquarters from Irvine to the Electronic Arts Campus in Playa Vista. WebVisible has 96 employees in the United States, most of them at the Playa Vista office.

BEVERLY HILLS

Legal Opening: Law Offices of Jonathan Franklin has opened an office in Beverly Hills. The firm, which specializes in criminal defense, is at 427 N. Canon Drive.

VALENCIA

New Space: Kreativ Cooperative Workspace, a shared work space and event venue for freelancers, small businesses and other organizations, has opened in Valencia. The business, at 28049 Smyth Drive, has 4,200 square feet of versatile space with private offices and conference room.

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES

New Address: The L.A. chapter of National Association of Women Business Owners has moved to a new office in downtown Los Angeles. The association, which promotes the interests of female entrepreneurs, is now at 523 W. Sixth St.
