Fueling Up: The City of Commerce has opened a liquefied and compressed natural gas fueling station. The station, at 5926 Sheila St., is managed and operated by Clean Energy, a Seal Beach-based builder and operator of natural gas fueling stations.

WESTSIDE

PALMS

Picture This: BerryFlash.com, a photo-sharing website, has opened its first concept photo lab store in Palms, where services include uploading old photographs, and adding photos to items such as T-shirts

and coffee mugs. The store is at 3124 S. Sepulveda Blvd.

CENTURY CITY

Coast to Coast: Century City-based investment bank Houlihan Lokey has acquired Red Pine Advisors LLC, a New York-based advisory firm. Red Pine will become part of Houlihan Lokey’s portfolio valuation and advisory services practice. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Moved In: McDermott & Bull Inc., an Irvine-based executive search firm, has opened an office in Century City. The new branch, at 2029 Century Park East, will be led by principal consultant Meiko Takayama.

WEST HOLLYWOOD

Locked Up: Rogers & Cowan, a West Hollywood PR firm, has been named the agency of record for WebSafety Inc., an Irving, Texas-based mobile and computer security technology. Rogers & Cowan will handle a national media campaign to promote web safety.

TRI-CITIES

PASADENA

Northern Exposure: Tetra Tech Inc.,a Pasadena-based engineering services company, has acquired EBA Engineering Consultants Ltd., an Edmonton, Albert, engineering company. It is Tetra Tech’s second Canadian purchase in as many years. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

SAN FERNANDO VALLEY

WESTLAKE VILLAGE

Picked Up: Aspyra Inc., a Westlake Village-based health care information technology firm, has been acquired by Orion Healthcare Ventures LLC, an investment firm that focuses on healthcare information technology companies. Aspyra will continue operations under its current name. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ENCINO

Triple Play: Farfalla Trattoria, a restaurant chain with locations in Los Feliz and Westlake Village, has opened a third branch at the Encino Marketplace. Encino Marketplace, owned by retail center developer Caruso Affiliated, is on Ventura Boulevard at Hayvenhurst Avenue.

WOODLAND HILLS

Fitting In: Goddess Fitness Dance has opened a studio in Woodland Hills. The 19855 Ventura Blvd. studio, in addition to exercise classes, features salon services. It is owner Emma Ridley’s second location, along with a studio at 26635 Valley Center Drive in Santa Clarita.
