THE LATEST: A civil engineer by training, Belisle oversees 11 offices and 600 associates in Southern California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii for Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. He taps his extensive experience to save energy and optimize space as a way to drive returns on large projects. Belisle has helped with JLL’s acquisition of Cleo Construction Management, Wilson Retail Group, 360 Commercial Partners Inc. and Martin Potts & Associates.
BACKGROUND: Belisle received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at UCLA and remained at the school to complete his MBA in real estate and finance. He spent more than 20 years in construction management before joining JLL in 2000. Belisle stepped into his current role in 2012. He volunteers with the Special Olympics, the YMCA and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
WORTH NOTING: Belisle helped the Clinton Climate Initiative with a $500 million renovation of the Empire State Building, which is expected to generate $4.4 million in energy savings annually.
