Jurors will hear closing arguments Tuesday in the federal case against high-powered attorney Terry Christensen and ex-private eye Anthony Pellicano, both charged with conspiring to wiretap the ex-wife of billionaire investor Kirk Kerkorian.
During six weeks of testimony, prosecutors played 6 1/2 hours of audio tapes that Pellicano allegedly made in secret of phone conversations he had with Christensen.
But aside from a brief appearance from a frail looking Kerkorian, there was little star power in this sequel to Pellicano’s first trial earlier in the year.
