Olivier de Givenchy leads the West Region for J.P. Morgan Private Bank, overseeing offices in California, Washington, Arizona and Colorado. He chairs the bank’s Los Angeles market leadership team. He was previously chief executive of J.P. Morgan Private Bank in the United Kingdom and sat on the board of J.P. Morgan International Bank Ltd. He is on the Getty Museum director’s council and is a member of the international committee of San Patrignano, an Italian charitable organization. He is also an ambassador of the Blue Marine Foundation and founding member of the Blue Marine Yacht Club, an ocean conservation organization.
What was your proudest moment?
The birth of each of my children. It is astounding to see their consistent accomplishments. I am so proud of them and how my wife Zoe and I have managed to bring up a very modern family together.

What is your next project?
My main focus is expanding JPMorgan Private Bank’s footprint across Los Angeles and the West Region while ensuring cooperation and partnership between all our lines of business. JPMorgan Chase employs 30,000 employees, serves 32,000,000 clients and last year gave back $51,000,000 in grants and charitable contribution towards building skills to meet a constant changing work landscape of our community in the West Region.
Who is your hero?
My uncle, Hubert de Givenchy who passed away this year at the age of 91. The fact that he managed to build a global brand that bears our last name and is internationally recognized and respected comes only second to the ethics and values he instilled in my siblings and I. I am proud of the legacy he and my godfather Philippe Venet, his partner of 65 years, have bestowed upon us.
What do you like best about Los Angeles?
Los Angeles is a city in transition. It is a city that continues to grow and innovate. I enjoy being part of what is transpiring in our very diverse community and am enthusiastic about our future and contributing at my personal level.
