General Motors Corp. and billionaire investor Kirk Kerkorian’s Tracinda Corp. on Friday said they failed to agree on the terms under which a seat on GM’s board would be made available to Kerkorian adviser Jerome York.
In a joint statement, GM and Tracinda said they had held “constructive discussions” on the issue but had been unable to reach a mutually satisfactory agreement for Kerkorian’s representation on the board of directors.
