KNA Interior Design, an L.A. interior design firm serving the hospitality industry, has named Thomas Johnson principal. Previously, Johnson was director of business development at Hirsch Bedner Associates, a Santa Monica-based interior design firm.


First Bank, a Creve Coeur, Miss.-based bank, has promoted Walter Bakly III to assistant vice president at its Woodland Hills branch. Previously, Bakly was a branch manager.
