Architecture

KKE Architects Inc. named Simon Y. Park director of operations in its Pasadena office. Park was previously associate architect for Gensler in Santa Monica.


F+A Architects, an architectural and planning organization based in Pasadena, hired Barton Chambers as senior vice president and director of design. Chambers was previously principal designer at Peddle Thorp Blair & Chambers in Torrance.


The Los Angeles office of the architectural firm HOK hired Riccardo Mascia as managing principal. Mascia was previously a senior executive at HOK in San Francisco.



Automotive


Gardena-based Nissan North America Inc. promoted Bill Garlin to the new position of global manager, Infiniti Communications. Garlin was previously senior manager, Infiniti Product Public Relations. Kyle Bazemore will replace Garlin. Bazemore was senior manager, corporate communications. Bazemore and Garlin will remain based in Gardena. Katherine Zachary will replace Bazemore. She was formerly communications manager in the Detroit area and will now be based in Los Angeles.


Banking & Finance


San Francisco-based Union Bank of California, a subsidiary of Union BanCal Corp., promoted Johannes Worsoe to executive vice president. Worsoe was formerly head of global markets, chairman and chief executive of UnionBanc Investment Services LLC, and chairman and chief executive of UBOC Insurance Inc. Worsoe remains based at the company’s Los Angeles regional office.


Bank of the West’s Los Angeles Commercial Banking Center named Dennis Fors senior vice president and market manager. Fors was previously senior vice president, regional risk management executive for the California & Northwest Business Banking division at Bank of America in Los Angeles.



Biotechnology


Amgen Inc. promoted Michael Kelly to vice president of corporate planning and control and chief accounting officer. Kelly was previously vice president, finance for process development, operations and quality at the Thousand Oaks company.



Consulting


Mullin Consulting Inc. hired Matthew B. Cobb as senior managing consultant in its Los Angeles office. Cobb was formerly an associate attorney at Musick Peeler & Garrett in Los Angeles.



Entertainment


The Entertainment Industry Development Corp., a private non-profit based in Hollywood that organizes on-location entertainment production, hired Michael J. Bennett as chief financial officer. Bennett formerly served as chief operating officer of Interface Family Services, a domestic violence intervention service in Camarillo.


BMI has named Malik Levy director, writer/publisher relations. Levy previously was based in Los Angeles as president of Roster Super Co., an urban marketing and lifestyle company.


Warner Bros. Entertainment in Glendale has hired Billy Wright as vice president, Worldwide Wireless, Warner Bros. Online. Wright will move to Glendale from London, where he was group director of content, sponsorship and brand experience at Orange, a global telecommunications company.


Webzen America Inc., a subsidiary of the online entertainment company Webzen Inc., appointed Sven Hindman, Steve Cavazos, Aaron Rigby, and Mike Markin to positions in its new Los Angeles office. Hindman will serve as the director of customer relationship management. He previously was director of customer relationship management at Turbine Inc. in Boston. Cavazos will be director of human resources. He was formerly human resources manager for Atari Inc. in Santa Monica. Rigby will serve as senior producer on Webzen’s multiplayer online role-playing game, “Soul of the Ultimate Nation.” He was the U.S. producer for Lineage II at NCsoft in Los Angeles. Markin will be senior brand manager for “Soul of the Ultimate Nation.” He was a product marketing manager at NCsoft.



Law


Greene Broillet & Wheeler LLP, a Santa Monica-based firm specializing in personal injury and civil law, has promoted associate Scott H. Carr to partner. Carr has been with the firm for 14 years.


Pircher Nichols & Meeks, a national real estate law firm, has hired Jeffrey N. Brown as a litigation partner in its Los Angeles office. Brown was previously a partner at Morgan Lewis’ Los Angeles office.



Marketing


InQ, an online marketing company in Agoura Hills, hired Bernard Louvat as president and chief executive. Louvat was previously co-founder and chief executive of Evolution Robotics Inc. in Pasadena.



Media


Spanish-language television station Univision 34 Los Angeles hired Luis Patino as local sales manager. Patino was previously national sales manager for KBNT-TV, an Entravision station in San Diego.


AlphaDogs Inc., a post-production studio in Burbank, hired Paul De Cham as general manager. Cham was previously operations manager at Matchframe Video in Burbank.



Non-Profit


The San Gabriel Pomona Valley chapter of the American Red Cross, headquartered in Pasadena, named Manuel Abud, Jeanine Hayes, Peter Ho, Janis Salin and Charles Wert as members to its board for the 2005-2006 fiscal year. Abud is vice president and general manager of Telemundo 52 in Los Angeles, Hayes is general counsel of Yahoo Search Marketing in Pasadena, Ho is general manager of Sing Tao Newspapers in Los Angeles, Salin is chief legal officer of Tetra Tech Inc. in Pasadena and Wert is executive vice president and senior trust officer of U.S. Trust Co., N.A. in Los Angeles.

Lowe Enterprises Inc., a real estate investment, development and management firm based in Los Angeles, has hired John Lee as senior vice president of Lowe Enterprises Real Estate Group. Lee was previously a vice president of investments with Crescent Real Estate Equities in Fort Worth, Texas.

Beverly Center in Los Angeles hired Aj D. Jemison as general manager. She was previously general manager at International Plaza in Tampa, Fla.



Shipping


Atlanta-based Lufthansa Cargo promoted Joy Banerjee to district sales manager for the USA West Coast. Banerjee was previously manager-sales steering for the USA West and South, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. Banerjee will be based in Los Angeles.



Technology


Diodes Inc., a manufacturer and supplier of semiconductors, promoted Mark A. King to senior vice president, sales and marketing, and hired Francis Tang to the new position of global product manager. Both will be based at the company headquarters in Westlake Village. King was previously vice president, sales and marketing. Tang previously served as a general manager of T2 Microelectronics, a subsidiary of Acer Labs Inc.


Guidance Software Inc., a Pasadena-based computer forensic company, has promoted Frank Sansone to chief financial officer and Victor Limongelli to president. Sansone was previously vice president of finance and Limongelli was vice president of professional services and general counsel.


Celetronix Power Products Division, a seller of miniature, high efficiency power supplies and an operating unit of Celetronix USA Inc. in Simi Valley, has appointed Igor Mogilevski vice president, engineering. Mogilevski was formerly head of engineering at Magnetek in Chatsworth.
