Accounting firm Ernst & Young has named Mark Borao and Sam Hughes principals and Jack Wells executive director of its advisory services practice at the firm’s downtown L.A. office. Previously, Borao was a vice president at Capgemini, a Paris-based business consultancy; Hughes was a senior vice president at Paramount Pictures International in London; Wells was a vice president at Warner Bros.

Visionaire Group, a Del Rey digital marketing agency, has named Jeremy Irwin executive creative director. Previously, Irwin was chief creative officer and co-founder of Xylem Interactive, a Denver marketing agency.

Deloitte Financial Advisory Services has named Nicholas Armstrong a director in its downtown L.A. office. Previously, Armstrong was a managing director at Duff & Phelps LLC, a New York-based financial investment firm.

Nosal Partners LLC, an executive search and consulting firm, has named Bob Bellano a senior partner in the firm’s Santa Monica office. Previously, Bellano was founder and managing director of Santa Monica executive search firm cFour Partners Worldwide.

Equis Staffing in Calabasas has named Diane Krehbiel director of IT and executive staffing. Previously, Krehbiel was an executive and technology recruiter at Kforce, a staffing firm based in Tampa, Fla.

Amcal General Contractors, the construction affiliate of Agoura Hills-based construction firm Amcal Multi-Housing Inc., has named Emery J. Comerford as vice president of construction. Previously, Comerford was president of construction for Coury Enterprises Inc., a Woodland Hills construction company.

USC Marshall School of Business has named Robert Hermanns director of food industry programs. Previously, Hermanns was senior vice president at Park City Group Inc., a Park City, Utah, business software developer.

Caltech has named Victoria D. Stratman general counsel. Previously, Stratman was deputy general counsel for the Pasadena institute.

Downtown L.A.-based engineering services firm Psomas has named John Reese senior program manager for federal services. Previously, Reese was senior program manager for K-C PMC in Seoul, South Korea.
