Accounting

The West Los Angeles office of Moss Adams LLP, a Seattle-based accounting and consulting firm, has hired Jeremy Dillard and Stephen Redmond as business assurance senior managers. Dillard was previously senior manager with Deloitte & Touche in Los Angeles. Redmond was senior manager with KPMG LLP in Los Angeles.


Advertising

Rubicon Project, a West Los Angeles-headquartered advertising technology company, has hired Mark Douglas as vice president of engineering. The company also hired Seizo Welch as vice president of finance. Douglas was previously vice president of technology at eHarmony.com, an online matchmaking company based in Pasadena. Welch was vice president of finance at Experian Interactive Media, a Santa Monica-based company provides commercial and financial information and marketing services.

Anne Moldovan has been named vice president of business development in the downtown Los Angeles office of Eprize, a Detroit-based interactive promotions and advertising firm. Moldovan was previously California regional sales manager for Global Knowledge, a business training company headquartered in Cary, N.C.


Architecture

Charles Alexander has joined the downtown L.A. office of Harley Ellis Devereaux, a Southfield, Mich.-based architectural firm, as project manager. Alexander was previously project director and design manager at Friedmutter Group, a Las Vegas-based architecture and design firm.

Gonzalez Goodale Architects, a Pasadena-based architectural firm, has hired Peter Kramer and Chuong Ngo as designers and project managers. Kramer previously owned Sherman Oaks-based Peter Kramer Architecture. Ngo was an associate principal at Onyx Architects in Pasadena.


Banking & Finance

Jorge Sosa has been named assistant vice president and banking center manager in the Woodland Hills branch of Comerica Bank. Sosa was previously an L.A.-area branch manager for Banco Popular North America, based in Rosemont, Ill.

City National Bank has hired Jason Mock as vice president and manager of its Bunker Hill banking office. Mock was previously a home loan consultant of Countrywide.


Consulting

The Beverly Hills office of AFH Holding & Advisory LLC, an advisory and consulting firm, has hired William Yuan as senior adviser. Yuan previously served as chairman and chief executive of Fortress Hill Holdings, an Asian investment banking firm.


Entertainment

Image Metrics, a Santa Monica computer graphics company for the interactive entertainment industry, has named Stephen Peacock vice president of product marketing. Eric Schumacher was named vice president of marketing. Peacock was previously head of worldwide sales for Emergent Game Technologies, a Calabasas-based maker of video game technology. Schumacher was a consultant for Image Metrics.


Hospitality

Marc Goedemans has been named chief financial officer in the L.A. office of New York-based Patina Restaurant Group. Goedemans was previously vice president of finance and chief financial officer of the food business unit at Mars Inc., a McLean, Va.-based snack maker.


Law

DLA Piper, a San Diego-based law firm, has named Jonathan F. Atzen partner of corporate and finance in its Los Angeles and Century City offices. Atzen was previously a venture partner and counsel for Anthem Venture Partners, a Santa Monica-based venture capital fund.

Horvitz & Levy LLP, an Encino law firm, has hired James S. Azadian and Michael Bacchus as associates. Azadian was previously an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of business law firm Sidley Austin LLP. Bacchus was an associate with Irell & Manella LLP, a Century City-based law firm.

Ian M. Forrest has joined the downtown L.A. office of Hunton & Williams LLP, a Richmond, Va.-based law firm, as associate. Forrest was previously an associate at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Marmaro LLP, a Century City-based firm.

The Century City office of McGuireWoods LLP, a Richmond, Va.-based law firm, has appointed Bethany Pelliconi counsel in its labor and employment practice. Pelliconi was previously a counsel in the Century City office of ReedSmith LLP, a Pittsburgh-based law firm.

Megan E. Green has joined Feinberg Mindel Brandt & Klein LLP, a Los Angeles law firm, as associate. Green was previously an associate with Robert N. Kipper Professional Corp., a Beverly Hills law firm.


Marketing

AvatarLabs, an Encino-based online marketing agency, has hired Ricky Kovac as producer. Kovac was previously a senior Web producer at Neoganda, a West Hollywood-based online marketing agency.


Non-Profit

Children’s Burn Foundation, a Sherman Oaks-based non-profit organization that provides support services and treatment to burned children, has appointed Marilyn W. de Leo director of development. De Leo previously served as director of development at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.


Publishing

Brad Jakeman has been appointed chief creative officer of Activision Publishing Inc., a Santa Monica-headquartered video game publisher. Jakeman was previously executive vice president of corporate marketing for Macy’s Inc., a Cincinnati-based retail chain.


Real Estate

CB Richard Ellis Investors, a real estate investment services business, has named Shaun O’Connor chief financial officer in its downtown L.A. office. O’Connor was previously chief financial officer of the U.S. equity business with commercial real estate firm GE Real Estate, based in Stamford, Conn.


Technology

Zag.com, a Santa Monica-based automobile shopping Web site, has promoted Bernie Brenner to executive vice president, and hired Stewart Easterby as vice president of sales, Bill Lepler as vice president of business intelligence and Star Marcus as vice president of human resources. Brenner was previously head of business development with the company. Easterby was vice president of account management at Yahoo Inc., a Sunnyvale-based Internet search engine company. Lepler was a consultant with Brandspeak LLC, a Minneapolis-based consulting company. Marcus was vice president of human resources for Faith Communications, a Beverly Hills-based telecommunications company.

Adam Willmouth has been named director in the Westwood office of Acuity Group, a Chicago-headquartered digital communications company. Willmouth was previously director of the company’s Scottsdale office.
