Charlotte Lazar-Morrison has been promoted to principal director of human resources at El Segundo-based Aerospace Corp. Lazar-Morrison’s responsibilities will include the design, development and administration of the company’s compensation, benefits and staffing resources. She previously was director of compensation and staffing resources.

Jaynie Studenmund has joined Home Savings of America as executive vice president. Studenmund will oversee the bank’s 368 financial service centers in California, Florida and Texas, and will be responsible for sales, product development and delivery of retail and small business financial products. She previously was executive vice president and director of retail banking at Great Western Bank. She will be based in Irwindale.

Gerry Barredo has been named regional vice president of the downtown Los Angeles regional office of Imperial Bank. Baredo will be responsible for commercial operation development. He previously was vice president and marketing director at Union Bank of California.

Entertainment

Gina Stroud has been named senior vice president of international distribution and marketing at Santa Monica-based MGM Distribution Co. Stroud will oversee efforts to expand the company’s international distribution. She previously was managing director at The Picture Production Co.

Cami Winikoff has been promoted to executive vice president and chief administrative officer at Trimark Pictures. Winikoff will oversee administration for all of the company’s divisions, including theatrical, home video, international and television. She previously was senior vice president, and will be based in Santa Monica.

Diane Medina has been named director of diversity programs at Burbank-based Walt Disney Co. In this newly created position, Medina will oversee efforts to reach out to minority communities and increase the company’s diversity. She previously was director of diversity programs and community relations at KABC-TV in Los Angeles.

Health Care

William C. Cook has been named vice president of procurement at Woodland Hills-based WellPoint Health Networks Inc. In this newly created position, Cook will be responsible for establishing a purchasing operation for the company. He previously worked as manager of purchasing for EuroDisney theme park in France.

High Tech

Genisco Technology Corp. has promoted Michael F. Boice to CEO and chairman of the board. Boice will also assume the position of president for the Solaris systems division. He previously was vice president of business development. Also, Jim Foti has joined the company as vice president of business development. He previously was vice president of sales for Datametrics Corp.

David Foley has been named director of engineering at Gardena-based Antex Electronics Corp. Foley will head the company’s software and hardware product development, organizational development and customer and vendor relations. He previously was vice president at the display division of Aura System Inc.

Rich Rygg has been named vice president and general manager at Santa Monica-based Internet service provider GeoCities. Rygg will oversee editorial, creative and marketing matters, as well as site and business development. Rygg previously was general manager at Digital City Los Angeles. Also, Jim Rea has been named vice president of business development. Rea will be responsible for developing partnerships. He previously owned and operated TeleWeb Publishing. Also, Dick Hackenberg has been named vice president of marketing. Hackenberg will be responsible for brand development and marketing strategies. He previously was account director of interactive advertising at TBWA Chiat/Day Advertising.

Santa Clarita-based Taitron Components Inc. has named Alex Miao vice president of engineering and quality. In this newly created position, Miao will oversee and monitor engineering and quality system activities. Prior to joining the company, he served as quality assurance manager in the computer products division at Analog Devices Inc. Also, Kent Cheng has been named vice president of marketing. Cheng will oversee the company’s optoelectronic devices business. Prior to joining the company, he was vice president of sales and marketing at Everlight Electronics.

Robert A. Passaretti has been promoted to vice president of human resources at Infonet Services Corp. in El Segundo. Passaretti will be responsible for directing all activities of the company’s human resources group. He previously was director of human resources programs.

John D. Conroy has joined Samsung Opto-Electronics America Inc. as western regional sales manager. Conroy will oversee sales efforts for the Samsung line of cameras. Prior to joining the company, he was regional sales manager of the private label and consumer products divisions of Konica U.S.A. He will be based in Los Angeles.

Roger A. Stevens has been named vice president at Magellan Systems, which manufactures satellite navigation and communications products. Stevens will oversee all operational activities of the product development group. He previously was general manager of Automotive Electronics at Rockwell International.

T. Warren Jackson has been promoted to vice president of workforce diversity at Hughes Electronics Corp. Jackson will be responsible for developing and implementing programs for employment and advancement opportunities for minorities and woman. He previously served as assistant general counsel, and will be based in Los Angeles.

Sue Carol Rokaw has been joined the Pasadena-based law firm of Rivkin, Radler & Kremer as partner. She will concentrate her practice in the areas of insurance coverage and litigation, real estate/property and business matters. She previously was partner at the law firm of Ropers, Majeski, Kohn & Bentley.

Public Relations

Judy Johnson has joined Golin/Harris Communications as senior vice president. Johnson will oversee the consumer marketing practice of the firm’s Los Angeles office. She previously was vice president at Fleishman-Hillard.

Real Estate

Jeffrey R. Calentino has joined Column Financial Inc. as director. Calentino will be responsible for commercial, industrial and multi-family real estate lending. He previously was at CB Commercial Real Estate Group Inc. He will be based in Newport Beach.

David Drake has been named vice president of planning and development at Watson Land Co. In this newly created position, Drake will help identify development opportunities for new and expanding tenants. He previously was manager of construction at Catellus Development.

Tourism

Teresa Frank Stamoulis has joined the Long Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau as vice president. Stamoulis will oversee the travel industry sales division. She previously served as senior manager of international sales and marketing at SeaWorld of Calif.
