Matt Loze has joined Pearson Television International as executive vice president. Loze will oversee the company’s acquisitions of international distribution rights to domestically produced programming. He previously was vice president of television at Trilogy Entertainment Group. Also, Shari Knox has been named manager of western division sales at ACI/Pearson Television. Knox will help oversee sales for California, Oregon, Utah and Texas. She previously was senior research analyst at Paramount Pictures. They will both be based in Los Angeles.
Anthony M. Spirito has been named manager of research at Tribune Entertainment Co. Spirito will generate research reports for the company’s advertising and sales staffs. He previously was group research manager at Petry Television. He will be based in Los Angeles.
Basil Iwanyk has been named vice president of production at Burbank-based Warner Bros. Iwanyk will oversee motion picture development and production. He previously was a production executive at the studio.

Brandon Faulk has been named vice president of business development and managed care at Good Samaritan Hospital in downtown Los Angeles. Faulk will oversee all business development and managed care functions, including marketing and public relations. She previously was assistant vice president of business development and managed care at OrNda Healthcorp.

Denis Clark has been named vice president of the distributed system solutions division at Santa Monica-based Candle Corp. Clark will oversee the development, pricing, packaging and product marketing of the company’s distributed systems and application management solutions. He previously was vice president in charge of business services at Sterling Commerce Inc.
Mark Skiba has been named chief technology officer at Sycronys Softcorp. Skiba will be responsible for guiding the company’s technological vision. He previously was president at Inset Systems. He will be based in Culver City.
