Wells Fargo & Co. has named Robert Suh as an investment banker for its public finance team. Suh was most recently an investment management specialist for the company’s wealth management group.

Michael A. Cavan has joined Huron Consulting Group, a financial and operational consulting services provider, as managing director for its Los Angeles office. Cavan was formerly managing director for the West Coast practice of Morris Anderson & Associates LLP.

Jorge Sciupac has joined the Los Angeles office of Callison, a Seattle-based retail design firm, as director. Sciupac was previously executive vice president of Van Tilburg Banvard & Soderbergh, a retail and commercial design firm.

Jamillah Moore has been appointed interim president for Los Angeles City College. Moore was formerly director of legislative and community college services for School Services of California.

Original Productions LLC, a Burbank-based production company, has promoted Jay Bennett to director of development and Jeff Conroy to vice president of programming and development. Bennett was most recently manager of development for the company. Conroy was a producer.
Hustler TV, an adult television network, has promoted Jim Dettman to senior vice president of sales, marketing and programming. Dettman was formerly vice president of sales and affiliate marketing for the Eastern region.
Tracy Katsky has joined Nickelodeon, a children’s television network, as senior vice president of development and original programming. Katsky most recently served as senior vice president of development for HBO Independent Productions.
National Lampoon Inc., a comedy television network, has promoted Michael Klein to vice president of sales. Klein previously served as director of sales for the Western region.
Mike Takac has been promoted to senior vice president of sales for Warner Home Video. Takac was most recently senior vice president of sales integration with the company.

Pamela Gonyea has joined Grill on the Alley, a steak and seafood restaurant in Beverly Hills, as manager. Gonyea most recently served as dining room manager at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
Vincent Mercurio has been hired as general manager of London West Hollywood hotel, which is opening early 2008. Mercurio most recently served as general manager at the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas resort.

Brian Aronson has rejoined Mayer Brown LLP, a national law firm, as the head of the Los Angeles real estate practice. Brown was most recently a partner at Holland & Knight LLP, an international litigation, government, business and real estate law firm.
Sheppard Mullin Richter and Hampton LLP, has hired Richard M. Steingard as special counsel for white collar and civil fraud defense practice at its Los Angeles office. Steingard was formerly a practitioner in criminal matters.
Susan A. Wolf has been named partner of the Century City office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, an international law firm. Wolf was previously a partner at Ervin Cohen & Jessup LLP, a law firm in Beverly Hills.

Withoutabox Inc., an online media company for independent film, has promoted Fred Kramer to president and named Trina Wyatt chief operating officer. Kramer was most recently chief operating officer with the company. Wyatt was formerly a consultant with the company.
John Wilson III has joined Milner Butcher Media Group, a Los Angeles-based media services agency, as executive vice president of business development. Wilson was previously senior partner of West Coast business development for Mediaedge:cia., a communications, marketing and advertising company.

Rand Corp., a Santa Monica-based non-profit research organization, has appointed Lenny Sands to its Center for Asia Pacific Policy advisory board. Sands is chief executive and founding partner of Alchemy Worldwide LLC, a Los Angeles-based marketing company.
Marc Stern has been appointed to the California Science Center board of directors. Stern is chairman of North American global investment for Soci & #233;t & #233; G & #233;n & #233;rale, a French banking company; vice chairman of TCW Group Inc., and a director at Qualcomm Inc.

Bill Durslag has been named managing director for the Los Angeles office of CB Richard Ellis Group Inc.’s strategic accounts group. Durslag was executive managing director of asset services for Cushman & Wakefield.
