Applications for U.S. home mortgages eased last week along with weaker refinancings despite a dip in 30-year mortgage rates, an industry group said on Wednesday.
The Mortgage Bankers Association said its seasonally adjusted index of mortgage application activity fell 4.4 percent to 644.5 in the week ended April 1, more than offsetting a increase of 2.4 the week previous.
