Mike Rosenberg is the senior managing director of Intrepid Investment Bankers and is responsible for M&A and capital markets transactions and serves on the firm’s executive committee. His three-decade investment banking career includes serving as chief executive of Barrington Associates, Intrepid’s predecessor company, which was acquired by Wells Fargo Securities. His career also includes stints at Foothill Capital, now Wells Fargo Capital Finance, and Bear Sterns. He also serves as president of Westcoast Sports Associates, a nonprofit organization Rosenberg co-founded to improve the lives of underprivileged children through participation in sports.
What was your proudest moment?
Raising my three sons to become hardworking, productive members of society and overall good guys!

What is your next project?
Together with my partners, helping to build Intrepid into the leading M&A middle market advisory firm on the West Coast.
Who is your hero?
My father, Dick Rosenberg, who started from very humble beginnings to become the Chairman and CEO of Bank of America. He was one of the pioneers of the bank consolidation trend and helped build it to be one of the largest banks in the world. More importantly, he is the most honorable, high integrity guy I know.
What do you like best about Los Angeles?
The combination of innovation, life style, entertainment and entrepreneurship. Oh, and the weather doesn’t hurt either.
