Maguire Properties Inc. said that it has appointed Martin Griffiths its chief financial officer to replace Dallas Lucas, who announced he is leaving the company.
Lucas’ resigned from the Los Angeles-based real estate to “pursue other interests,” effective March 2, the commercial property landlord said late Tuesday.
Griffiths has been executive vice president responsible for operations since July and previously worked at Deloitte Tax LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP.
Lucas, who was instrumental in guiding the company to its IPO in 2003, will serve as an advisor for three months, helping the company complete its $3-billion property purchase from Blackstone Group LP in mid February.
Shares of Maguire were flat at $39.25 in afternoon trading on Wednesday.
