• Westlake Financial Services had the highest year-over-year percentage growth
with 25.2%, with revenue increasing to $1.9 billion in 2019 from $1.5 billion in 2018.
• ACCO Engineered Systems saw second-largest year-over-year percentage growth
at 19%, growing their revenue to 1.5 billion in 2019 from $1.2 billion in 2018.
• Newegg Inc. suffered the largest year over-year revenue decline, falling 9.65% to
roughly $2.1 billion in 2019 from just under $2.3 billion in 2018.
Additions and Departures
• Smart & Final Stores Inc., which was acquired last year by Apollo Global Management for $1.1 billion. The grocery store chain has since become a private company again and is No.5 on this year's list.
• Former retail giant Forever 21 Inc.was acquired by Simon Property Group Inc., Brookfield Property Partners and Authentic Brands Group for $81 million in February, after the retailer filed for bankruptcy in 2019.
• Ice cream brand Halo Top Creamery, which ranked No. 57 last year, was sold to
Wells Enterprises Inc. in late 2019, ending the company’s two-year run on the list.
• Account Control Technologies Holdings Inc., which was previously based in
Woodland Hills and ranked No. 81 on last year’s list, moved the company’s
headquarters to Mason, Ohio.
