Kevin Burke is managing partner of Trinity Capital, the boutique investment banking firm he founded in 2000. The company has worked on mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings and financing transactions valued at more than $20 billion. Burke’s field of expertise includes the restaurant industry. Trinity Capital’s client roster has included Yum! Brands and its subsidiaries, including Taco Bell Corp., Ready Pac Foods Inc. and Eddy Packing Co. The company also works with private equity firms Bain Capital, Goldman Sachs Private Capital, the Carlyle Group and Thomas H. Lee Partners. Burke previously was executive vice president of Franchise Mortgage Acceptance Company. He was also an investment banker in New York at firms such as Dillon, Read & Co., L.F. Rothschild and Prudential Securities. The trained economist, who holds degrees from Old Dominion University and the College of William and Mary, is a frequent speaker on the restaurant industry, franchising and the economy. He also is an adjunct professor at the Mason School of Business at College of William & Mary.
