THE LATEST: Huvane has played a major role at CAA, a powerhouse entertainment and sports agency, for nearly 25 years. His clients include Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock and Tom Cruise.
BACKGROUND: Huvane joined CAA in 1995. In addition to handling his longtime clients, he oversees the agency’s lifestyle division, which includes culinary, commercial endorsements and speakers. In 2010, he helped secure investment in CAA from private equity firm TPG, a move that changed the way agencies operate. Huvane also heads the CAA-GBG Global Brands Group joint venture. He was recently honored by amfAR with the Inspiration Award for his efforts to support AIDS research. He is also a past recipient of the David Niven Award for his contributions to Project A.L.S. He’s a co-chairman of the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s National Colorectal Cancer Research Association.
WORTH NOTING: Huvane and partners created the CAA Foundation in 1996 to involve the entertainment community in philanthropy and to support educational programs.
