More than two months after taking the case under submission, a judge has approved a large housing development in Santa Clarita that was challenged by the Sierra Club and other environmental groups.
The decision by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Dzintra Janavs, dated Monday and made public Tuesday, clears the way for Newhall Land and Farming to build nearly 1,100 single-family homes and condominiums on the Riverpark project site.
