A story in the Feb. 24 Special Report, “Top Brokers 1996,” implied that Sean Deasy and Perky Apperson of CB Commercial Real Estate Group brokered the $30 million sale of the 700-unit Lakeside Apartments complex in Burbank. In fact, Craig Stevens, then of Lee & Associates and now an independent broker, represented both buyer and seller. Deasy was paid a small commission by the seller for locating a potential buyer, who did not end up purchasing the complex.
