Ducommun Inc. said Wednesday that a subsidiary of the Carson-based engineering and manufacturing services company signed a deal with NASA to develop sensors for a new interplanetary launch vehicle.
The contract for its Miltec subsidiary is reported to be worth $3.7 million and marks another agreement between NASA and Ducommun, which does work on the space shuttle’s external fuel tank.
Shares in Ducommun were up more than 20 cents in aftermarket trading Tuesday but are down 2 cents to $17.86 in early trading Wednesday.
