The dollar erased some of its gains on the euro on Tuesday after President Bush presented what he called a “lean budget.”
The euro was quoted at $1.2790 in afternoon New York trading, up from $1.2780 late Monday in New York and above a low of $1.2733 earlier in Tuesday’s session.
