Dana Settle is a founding partner with Greycroft and oversees the firm’s West Coast operations. Greycroft, founded in 2006, is a venture capital firm focused on technology investments. Its portfolio companies include micro-investing platform Acorns, money-transferring app Venmo, and online and mobile wholesale retailer Boxed. Settle serves or observes on the boards of a number of Greycroft investments, including AppAnnie, EBTH.com and The RealReal. She also managed the firm’s investments in various companies that have exited, including Maker Studios, which was sold to Disney, and Sometrics, which was sold to American Express. Prior to starting Greycroft, Settle spent several years as a venture capitalist and adviser to startup companies in the Bay Area. Her career includes working in business development at Truveo, which was acquired by AOL; investment banking at Lehman Brothers; and international business development at McCaw Cellular Communications, which was acquired by AT&T Corp.
