Daniel Rothenberg has been with UBS Financial Services since 2010, advising individuals, institutions and family offices. He got his start as an investment adviser at Morgan Stanley, working in the company’s office in downtown Los Angeles. The Pasadena native holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University.

What is your next project?

I am focused on continuing to expand my business in the Los Angeles area.

Who is your hero?

My father. He was in the investment management business and provided me with a clear set of moral standards. In addition, and more specific to the advisory business, he always taught me the importance of a long-term focus. That mindset has served me well in this business and his sense of right vs wrong has always led me to do what is best for my clients / prospects regardless of how it impacts me.

What do you like best about Los Angeles?

The diversity of people and opportunities. The breadth of people that I meet in Los Angeles always amazes me and is not replicated in many, if any, cities I have visited. There are constantly new and exciting opportunities in entertainment, sports and art to keep anyone entertained.
