Chain store retail sales rose for the fourth consecutive week as consumer demand for fall apparel items finally got a lift from colder weather, a retail report said on Tuesday.
Sales rose 0.4 percent in the week ended October 15, compared with 0.2 percent increase the previous week, the International Council of Shopping Centers and UBS said in a joint report.
