Chain store retail sales slipped in the latest week, with disappointing back-to-school sales due to hot weather in the eastern U.S., a retail report said on Tuesday.
Sales fell 0.2 percent in the week ended Aug. 13, compared with a 0.8 percent fall the previous week, the International Council of Shopping Centers and UBS said in a joint report.
