Gov. Pete Wilson’s $66 billion budget proposal includes a number of proposals that he says will benefit the state’s business community. Among them:
– A plan to cut taxes to corporations and banks by 10 percent during the next two years.
– The creation of two new foreign trade offices two in Asia and one in South America.
– Establishment of the Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank to assist local governments and businesses with financing. It will be backed by a $200 million bond issuance.
