BRUCE MEYER
President, Meyer Pacific
Founding Chairman, Petersen Automotive Museum Foundation
Real estate executive and car collector Bruce Meyer continues to serve as the face of the Petersen Automotive Museum. The museum, founded in 1994 by magazine publisher Robert E. Petersen and his wife, Margie, is owned and operated by the Petersen Automotive Museum Foundation, of which Meyer is the founding chairman. The museum, housed in a former department store in Los Angeles’ mid-Wilshire neighborhood, underwent a $90 million renovation in 2015 that encased the building in its distinctive silver ribbon carapace. Meyer is a longtime auto collector and member of three automotive halls of fame. He is also a Beverly Hills real estate investor and president of Meyer Pacific. He serves on the board of the Henry Ford Museum and St. John’s Health Center Foundation and is a founding board member of the CHP 11-99 Foundation, a nonprofit that provides assistance to California Highway Patrol employees and their families.
