Brian Holmes is the president and chief executive of Signature Estate & Investment Advisors. SEIA and its affiliates manage $8.3 billion of assets. Holmes is one of the company’s four founding partners, who have worked together for more than two decades. Holmes has been in the investment management business for over 30 years on SEIA’s investment committee. He is the only adviser from Los Angeles and Orange counties to be listed in Barron’s Top 100 Independent Advisors list since its inception for the last 11 years. Worth Magazine ranked him among the nation’s Top 250 Financial Advisors of 2008. Holmes has been a guest lecturer in economics and investments at University of California, Los Angeles, his alma mater. He also is a past member of the Schwab Institutional advisory board, and has served on the UCLA Department of Economics board of visitors.

Marrying my wife Lisa and our two kids Justin and Kelsey attending college.

What is your next project?

Doubling down on SEIA’s Philanthropic Endeavor’s through Signature Fund for giving which supports local youth who represent L.A.’s future leaders and innovators.

What do you like best about Los Angeles?

L.A.’s cultural, culinary, economic, entertainment and microclimate diversity is arguably the best in the world.
