MGA Entertainment has signed a deal with Rubie’s Costume Co. Inc. to produce costumes and accessories based on the company’s wildly popular Bratz doll line.

The privately held, Van Nuys-based toy company said Rubie’s, based in Richmond Hill, N.Y., will produce a complete line of kids and tween costumes as well as costume accessories, including wigs, jewelry and make-up kits.

Rubie’s said it is the largest Halloween products company in the world and has other licensing agreements to produces products based on a variety of movies and characters, including “High School Musical,” “Friday the 13th,” and “Dog the Bounty Hunter.”
