Retailer Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse Corp. on Wednesday said it agreed to be bought by affiliates of private equity firm Bain Capital Partners LLC for $45.50 per share in cash, or around $2.06 billion.
The company said that its board of directors has approved the proposed merger.
