The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Los Angeles area are leveling off, falling 2.4 cents to $3.404 for the week ended May 15, according to the Energy Information Administration.
L.A. prices are 92 cents higher than they were a year ago. Statewide, prices fell -.02 cents from the previous week to 3.330, up 85 cents from a year earlier.
