Antony Ressler is a co-founder and executive chairman of Ares Management GP. He also serves as chairman of Ares’ management committee and a member of the investment committee of certain funds managed by the Ares Private Equity Group and the Ares Real Estate Group. Since June 2015, Ressler has served as the principal owner and chairman of the Atlanta Hawks. He is a director of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a co-chair of the board of trustees of Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and a member of the board of Georgetown University. Ressler is a founding board member of the Painted Turtle Camp, an organization focused on serving children with serious medical conditions by providing fun and supportive camp-based programs. Ressler, who has an estimated net worth of $2.1 billion, is No. 32 on the Los Angeles Business Journal’s list of Wealthiest Angelenos.
