Altria Group Inc. on Tuesday posted higher fourth-quarter profit but forecast a decline in 2006 earnings due to restructuring charges at its Kraft Foods Inc. business, the stronger dollar and lower income from Spain.
The 2006 forecast assumes weakness and stiff competition in some of the markets for its Philip Morris International cigarette unit, which has been the key growth driver for Altria.
