Biotechnology company Abraxis BioScience Inc. said Wednesday that it has named David O’Toole its chief financial officer, succeeding Lisa Gopala. O’Toole, 49, previously worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP. The Los Angeles-based company said Gopala resigned from her post to become chief executive of a philanthropic venture fund and to work as executive director of a related nonprofit group.
