3D Systems Corp. said Monday that it will have to restate its financial statements for the first and second quarters of 2006 and postpone its third-quarter 2006 earnings release following the discovery of several accounting errors.
The Valencia-based company, which announced last year that it was moving its headquarters to Rock Hill, S.C., said a review uncovered the errors, which will increase the company’s net loss for the first and second quarters of this year.
3D posted a loss of $1.24 million (8 cents per share), in the first quarter, and a loss of $8.94 million (56 cents) in the second quarter.
Shares in 3D were down $1.64 to $14.27 in early trading Monday.
