Jack Karagulleyan

Jack has more than 10 years of experience providing federal income tax advisory and compliance services to public and privately held companies in financial services, technology, media and entertainment, retail, healthcare and manufacturing. Jack serves as a core point of contact for management teams, assisting with indirect tax, international tax, accounting methods, multistate planning, business combinations and research of tax issues affecting overall business transactions to optimize tax operations. He is also experienced in accounting for income taxes, corporate, flow-through, and individual tax planning and compliance.
Education
Jack received a bachelor’s in accounting and business administration degree from Cal State University, Northridge and a master of business taxation degree from University of Southern California. Jack is a certified public accountant in California and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Other Experience
Jack previously served as Head of Tax for Smart & Final where he assisted them with the post-IPO transition, developed a tax department and lead tax planning efforts. Prior to joining KPMG, he also served as the Vice President of Tax for Oaktree Capital leading various functions within the corporate team.
