Beth Collins is known as a problem solver who routinely tackles high-profile, high-controversy cases. She has a rare mix of significant entitlement, transactional and litigation experience that gives her a unique perspective and her clients an edge—whether she is litigating in the courts, drafting documents, negotiating a deal or advocating before public officials and agencies. She also leads her firm’s California Real Estate and Land Use Group.
Collins’ career has also always included public service. Before law school, she moved to Los Angeles in 1994 to teach middle-school science and health in Southeast Los Angeles as a member of Teach for America. Since becoming a lawyer, she has donated thousands of pro bono hours. Recently, she worked pro bono to permit the Armenian American Museum in Glendale, and helped the Islamic Society of Santa Barbara permit the first mosque and cultural center in the Central Coast region of California.
