After a successful career providing gourmet cakes for LA through her prior business, CakeWorks, Diane Jacobs found out she was dairy- and gluten-intolerant. A creative, culinary genius, she set about creating the creamiest, most delicious plant-based, gluten-free and diabetic-friendly ice cream imaginable.
As a minority woman entrepreneur, she counted on the encouragement of her sister Denise, and the financial support and sweat equity of her mother, Deloria Jacobs to get Divine Dips off the ground in 2011. Since then, it has been voted Best Vegan Ice Cream and Best of LA, as well as making Yelp’s top 100 Ice Cream stores in the US! Jacobs regularly appears and gives through community events, ice cream socials and festivals.
